The Parish Mission Council has created a Parish Mission Survey to ascertain what ministries, social activities, and faith formation opportunities you would like to see offered at St. John’s. This will help the Council to organize groups of parishioners who have a common interest and who can then offer things in which parishioners could participate. This will include the areas of: liturgical ministries; ministries of outreach to parishioners; small and large social events within the parish; faith formation opportunities for teens, young adults, and older adults; service opportunities to the local community. Each parishioner who is in high school or older will be given a survey at the Masses on January 31st and February 1st when you arrive for Mass. Before Mass begins, time will be given to look it over and fill it out. At the end of Mass, members of the Parish Mission Council will be in the back of the church to receive your completed surveys. Think about what you would like to be involved in at the parish. Then mark that down in the survey at the January 31st or February 1st Mass. You can also click the following link to print the survey so you can complete it at home and return it to the Parish Council members at the end of Mass. |
